Florida Conservatory of Music Curriculum & Teachers:

The adventure begins with our evaluation of your child to determine his/her musical ability and answer any questions you may have about our teaching methods and curriculum. We even have loaner instruments available for home-use during our 8-week introductory program, so you can determine your child's level of interest before purchasing your own musical instrument.

Our curriculum includes David Carr Glover & Alfred's Primer levels I and II, after which we encourage students to move into the Royal Conservatory of Music Classical Celebration Series. Since its beginning in 1886, the Royal Conservatory of Music has been one of the largest institutions for music education in the world and remains a cornerstone for international music-excellence. We are dedicated to passing on this excellence through our extensive curriculum and have successfully prepared students for advancement to such schools as Douglas Anderson.

After completing levels 1-10 of this program, the student will have completed the entire curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music. After the Primer levels, a student may also choose to study contemporary, jazz, or Christian music disciplines. Whatever your music goals the Florida Conservatory is ready to teach you to play. We offer multiple classrooms where 30 minute sessions are conducted weekly.
